Their Need
The Options Insider wanted to create an information website where people interested in investing in options could get information needed to help them make investing decisions. The original idea, by the company, was to use an existing template and start posting information. However, this model soon became too much work for the company and too difficult to maintain. The original model would take up too much time and effort.
The Solution
hurriKane Solutions created a content management system that could store limitless information. They also instituted an RSS feed for each section so people could be notified of new information. Plus they developed a new custom-made blog system and custom-built banner tracking systems to track banner ads. In particular it would track which ones were doing well. This was important because the company's income stream came entirely from ads. Finally, hurriKane Solutions also added a way for The Options Insider to post podcasts.
