The revamped website greatly improves communications among key officials throughout the county. According to Klein, this has greatly eased the burden on his department, and made updating the website much easier. The DuPage Public Safety Communications is one of the largest emergency 9-1-1 call centers in Illinois. The call center manages phone calls for 27 agencies in DuPage County. Forty-eight Telecommunicators are supported by six Operations Managers and other managers, three full-time technicians, an IT staff and an Assistant and Executive Director.
